The Degradation of Society
In front of the man, there is a great illusion. It bothers him in the form of a woman. There is a large illusion in front of the woman as well and it comes to her in the form of a man.
You can visit Amsterdam, London, or New York. Examine this world of an incredible experience. You will only find two things: sex and ego.
The most powerful urge in human life is the sex instinct. Sex energy, also known as lust, is man’s most primitive instinct. The mind, intellect, prana, senses, and entire body are completely engulfed by sex energy. It is the oldest of the factors that have contributed to the formation of the human body.
A man has a thousand and one desires. The strongest central desire, however, is sexual desire. The primary desire is the desire for a mate. All are clinging to this central basic desire. Later on, the desire for money, the desire for a son, the desire for property, houses, cattle, and other desires emerge.
Because the entire creation of this universe must be maintained, God has made sexual desire extremely powerful. Otherwise, many Jivanmuktas would have appeared as easily as university graduates. It is simple to obtain a university degree. It necessitates a small amount of money, memory, intelligence, and strain.
However, eliminating sexual impulses is a difficult task. Brahman, or God Himself, is one who has completely eradicated lust and is established in mental Brahmacharya.
This world is all about sex and ego. The main thing is ego. It is the foundation. Sex is dependent on the ego. If Vichara or the question “Who am I?” destroys the ego, the sex idea takes off on its own. Because of ignorance, man, the master of his destiny, has lost his divine glory and become a slave, a tool, in the hands of sex and ego. Avidya, or nescience, produces lust and ego. The dawn of Self-knowledge destroys these two enemies of Atman, the two robbers who prey on the helpless, ignorant, little, false Jiva, the illusory “I.”
Man has degraded himself significantly by becoming a puppet of passion. Alas! He’s turned into an imitative machine. He has lost his ability to discriminate. He has devolved into the most heinous form of slavery. What a sad state of affairs! What a sad state of affairs! If he wants to reclaim his lost divine state and Brahmic glory, he must transform his entire being, and his sexual desire must be completely transmuted by sublime divine thoughts and regular meditation.
Transmutation of sex desire is a highly effective, efficient, and satisfying method of achieving eternal bliss.
In every part of the world, passion reigns supreme. Sexual thoughts dominate people’s minds. Everything in the world is sexy. The entire world is intoxicated by sexual desire. Everyone is deluded and walks around with a perverted intellect. There was no mention of God. There is no mention of God. It’s all about fashion, restaurants, hotels, dinners, dances, races, and the movies. Their lives are defined by eating, drinking, and reproducing. That’s it.
Young men today imitate the West indiscriminately, which leads to their own demise. Lust has an effect on men. They lose their sense of righteousness, as well as their sense of time and place. They never distinguish between what is right and wrong. They have no sense of shame.
Read about the history of the crimes — robbery, rapes, kidnapping, assaults, and murders — tried before the Sessions Courts. All of this stems from lust. Lust for money or lust for carnal pleasure is both possibilities. Life, luster, strength, vitality, memory, wealth, fame, holiness, peace, wisdom, and devotion are all ruined by lust.
Man, with his lofty intellect, must learn from birds and animals. Even animals are more self-controllable than humans. Only the so-called man has degraded himself greatly through indulgence.
Sensuality contradicts wisdom and holiness. The most important business in life is to avoid impurity.
